I embrace genuine curiosity, compassion and reflective non-judgement questioning to help my clients hear themselves out loud, process difficult emotions, and work together to reconcile what has been left unresolved.

Lee Andrus is a Counseling Therapist with The Association of Counselling Therapy Alberta (ACTA) and Spiritual Health Practitioner with Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC). She is trained in EMDR therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing Therapy. Lee has over 35 years of experience as a counselor working with clients who experience mental health challenges, trauma, addictions, family violence, life transitions, grief and loss and palliative care. She has worked as a Spiritual Care Counselor at the Cross Cancer Institute, a Psychiatric Chaplain at Grey Nuns Community Hospital, in Pastoral ministry and in both Inpatient and Outpatient counselling centers. Lee has a passion for developing and leading groups and is an effective conference speaker. She is a registered End of Life Doula with the End of Life Association of Canada and is a graduate from the Sacred Art of Living and Dying Center for Spiritual Formation, Healing the Healer program. She specializes in palliative end of life counselling and care for individuals and families. She has worked with people of all age groups and cultures in a wide range of challenges. She has a Masters in Theological Studies, holds two Bachelor Degrees; one in Psychology and the other in Biblical Studies. She also has a Diploma in Addictions Counselling. Lee uses a client-centred, strength-based, and collaborative approach to accompany clients on their healing journeys.
